Agreement

By downloading or using Path to Scratch, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What the app provides

Path to Scratch provides tools for swing-video review, golf practice, fitness logging, plans, course lookup, score entry and personal statistics. Features and availability may change as the app improves.

Your records

You remain responsible for the videos, scores, practice results, plans and other information you enter. Keep appropriate backups. iCloud synchronization depends on the Apple Account, device settings, network access and services operated by Apple.

Subscriptions

Path to Scratch may offer an auto-renewable monthly Pro subscription and an introductory free trial to eligible Apple Accounts.

• The exact price, billing period and trial terms are displayed before purchase.
• Payment is charged to the Apple Account after confirmation.
• A free trial automatically converts to the paid monthly subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
• The subscription renews automatically unless canceled through Apple at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel the subscription in Apple Account subscription settings.
• Apple determines trial eligibility, billing, refunds, renewal, expiration and revocation.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Course and statistical information

Course details may come from a third-party course-data provider and may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate. Strokes-gained values, slope readings, plans and summaries are estimates based on entered information and published statistical baselines. Verify important course, score and safety information independently.

Safety

Use the app only when it is safe to do so. Do not operate it while driving a golf cart or vehicle. Be aware of golfers, golf balls, clubs, terrain and weather around you. Fitness tools are for personal logging and are not medical advice. Stop an activity and seek qualified advice if you have health or safety concerns.

No promise of results

The app cannot guarantee improved scores, a particular handicap, fitness results or error-free measurements. Golf and fitness performance depend on many factors outside the app.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the app or course-search service, attempt to bypass App Attest or subscription controls, interfere with the service, extract a third-party API key, automate abusive requests, or use the app in violation of law or another party's rights.

Availability

We may correct, update, suspend or discontinue features. Course search, iCloud, StoreKit and other features rely on Apple or third-party services that may be unavailable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Disclaimer and limitation

To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties not expressly required by law. To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, Path to Scratch is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, personal injury caused by unsafe use, or reliance on inaccurate user-entered or third-party information. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated. Continuing to use the app after an update means the revised terms apply to future use, to the extent permitted by law.
